I'm been such a terrible blogger recently. I have plenty of pictures to upload - full of drunk parties. Alright not FULL of but a couple. Which means I gotta sit my ass down and study. Cos exams are in a week's time. Which means I'm flying home sooooooooooooon.
I can't wait. Really. Home beckons so badly no matter what entices me here, I would be hard to drag my sorry ass away from home.
Home. I wanna go home.....

16th October: My babe and My dad's birthday. Unfortunately, I cannot be in Singapore to celebrate with my dad. Quite sad actually, but luckily for me, I have my babe to celebrate her birthday for. Went to this place up the coast called Yama Sakura, which seriously was pretty outta the way for the Ipswich gang.
It was meant to be a surprise that everyone was going out to celebrate for her, instead of just us 4 girls. So, we had to arrive fashionably late with the birthday girl.
Before we came (the bored people):
New Couple on the Block!
Phyllis and Kenny (the visiting boyfriend)
Yes yes, we could tell they were bored. Finally after making wrong turns and everything, the fasionably late people arrived.
Nic and Wilson
My babe
My boy
My darlings
This birthday had MUCH less drinking that the usual birthday bashes. Mainly cos its a Sunday and its near exams and assignments and ALL that CRAP. But nontheless, what's a birthday without a little drinking.
No, he's not mine...
The Birthday Drink
The Lot of Us outside Yama Sakura
My babe once more..
Well, after driving up to the coast for dinner, we urm, drove back down to Brisbane to Pancake House to 'cut cake'. Petrol is cheaper in Aussie *sniggers*
@ Pancake House
The Organiser for everything!
The babes...
This is her 'birthday cake' : which actually is her favourite pancake [Strawberry Patch]
Making a wish complete with sparkles
May the coming year be a great one for you
Love ya babe.

This is the 2nd part of my mini getaway. We went from one end of Brisbane to another. Yes, from Gold Coast to Boonah (near Ipswich) to look for a Lavender Farm. The find was horrendous cos everywhere just looked the same to us, ULU.
On the way to Ipswich, cuddling up at the back
Made a little detour to this place called um Maroon Dam which is blardy ULU. But since we were there, might as well take a photo there. But I swear, that place is horrendously isolated with flies everywhere and the heat.. Sheesh, like its summer.
Yeah yeah, there's nothing much here..
Moving on.. There was a switch in navigators and I have a new back seat mate. As you can see, we were pretty bored at the back..
While this navigator was busy in front
And while the driver was busy, the 3 of us
Finally...
Note the word Lavender Farm in smaller print...

The Farm..
Took a picture of this there. Beautiful right?
Happy after the Lavender Farm..
And if I cannot own a real lavender, I'll make do with this
=D
Going home...
Our trusty car
Oops, did I mention I stole a stalk of lavender? ;)

Haha, I'm starting to think that my blog is boring.. Oops, perhaps it could be due to the fact that I do not blog frequently? Well, busy busy busy me. At least now I'm slightly better, I mean with assignments and stuff. Left with one final group assignment, I must say I finished heaps earlier than others. But when I was busy, they were all free! Justice *evil laughter*
Anyway, after the last assignment went down the chute, it was a mini getaway to this place called Byron Bay and a lavender farm in Boonah. Byron Bay is the most easternly point of Australia (in my geography teacher voice) and has one of the most beautiful sunrises around. Its about a 2hr drive from Brisbane. Setting off at 2am in the morning in our comfy PJs and nerdy specs, the boys (Francis and Teddy) started the drive down to Byron Bay while Jo and I cuddled up at the back complete with pillows and the quilt (so sweet of them right?)
So while the boys were driving down at 150km/hr, the girls were sleeping and woke up just in time for a photo!
Arriving at 4am in the morning...
The initial euphoria of reaching our destination...
Finally some light
Mucking around waiting for the Sun to really rise. Guess who is who??
But there was no sunrise. *sadness*
See no sun.. What a cloudy morning.. :(
*sadness*
