Jess went fishing ages ago. But I only have had time to blog about it. Actually, techinically speaking I dont have time to blog about it, but I simply am too brain dead to do my reports. I have 3 reports due in the span of 5 days. Seriously, I think the faculty of Psychology wants to kill me. Well, I suppose this is what I get for taking 3 core subjects in one sem instead of mixing it around with some electives. But yeah, if I have a harder time now, hopefully I might have an easier time in my final year (hopefully, not to much avail I know though). Anyway, back onto fishing (2 weeks ago). We actually drove up to the coast to fish. Keke, though I would say that was not on the original plans. This is one outing that has 2 girls and 7 guys, (oh lucky me!) But anyway, Teddy, Francis and Gilbert called me out for dinner and a movie that night.

And then we got to Cybercity ( this Hong Kong place restaurant thingy that most students go to) and realised that we are meeting alot of people for dinner. Allen and Leanord was already there. Following after, John, Jane and Ah Wee joined us for dinner. 2 girls and 7 guys, of which one girl is attached to one of the guys there. So she was always with him while I was there, in the midst of 6 guys.
Mucking around during dinner in Cybercity. John raised the suggestion - fishing up at the coast. Everyone just agreed. (What ever happened to the movies?) After much packing and stuff and picking up of jackets and stuff, we finally to got to this place up in the coast. Its actually a river where people put their crab nets and stuff to catch fish and crab. But unfortunately for us and especially me since I was a first timer at fishing, (bad luck there), there was absolutely no catch at all. But since we were already there, we might as well just take some 'fishing' photos, to show that we had gone there before.
Since there was really no catch that night, we decided to call it a night and go for supper!
It was alright I suppose though lousy catch but yeah, I think as long as the company is great, that's all that matters! Back to PSYC 1020 report. I really should have done this long ago. Bleah..

I have heard before that Engineers make better husbands. From somewhere, someone. How having an Engineering husband is more stable. Though on a personal note I think all EE guys are quite erm, block-headed. In a good way though.. *no offence esp to Gil, Francis and Johnny* Keke..
A MBA and an Engineer go on a camping trip, set up
their tent,and fell asleep.
Some hours later, the Engineer wakes his MBA friend.
"Look up at the sky and tell me what you see."
The MBA replies, "I see millions of stars."
The Engineer asks "What does that tell you?"
The MBA ponders for a minute :
"Astronomically speaking, it tells me that there are
millions of galaxies and potentially billions of
planets.
Astrologically, it tells me that Saturn is in Leo.
Time wise, it appears to be approximately a quarter
past three.
Theologically, it's evident the Lord is all-powerful
and we are small and insignificant.
Meteorologically, it seems we will have a beautiful
day tomorrow. What does it tell you?"
The Engineer friend is silent for a moment, then
speaks. "Practically speaking ... someone has stolen our tent".

Today is Mummy's day! For 2 years now, I havent been home for mummy's day. But without these 2 years, I really dont know how much I appreciate my mummy. So this is what I made for my mummy. Ok kinda, this is not the complete product, just the pictures that I collage for her and of cos my dad has been bugging me to send him pictures of my life here. So I decided to make one too!

This is what I'm missing out on. The last alumni outing I went to was 2003. Susequently, I guess by being here, I can never attend these things anymore. Its kinda sad really cos I know that this is the kinda life that I'll be leading for the next many years.
Past vs Present Day (PPD) 2005 is here..it's on 4th june 2005.. from 1200 to 1830..it's a day where ex-students of Pioneer JC cancome back to the sch (PJC Teck Whye Campus) toplay games with the present students..there are 4 games available.. soccer, volleyball,basketball and captain's ball..registration fees applies for all games.. allteams shld consist of boys n girls.. and this yearwe will be giving out door gifts too..come on and join us..let's all make this happening..visit our website for more information n registeronline now!!our website: www.pac.org.sgdo help us to spread the msg ard ur PJC friends..also.. for this year, there is a sleepover atpjc.. there will be movies to watch thruout thenite.. sleepover will be from 4th june at nite to5th june in the morning.. it's goin to be reallyfun and exciting..thanks everyone..
Sigh, I guess that these really are the things that we just sacrifice when we leave the country. Never mind, Jess will be strong. Jess cannot be like that cos Jess will only be flying home at the end of the year. Like last year, I will look forward once again to fly home. I guess its all this talk with other people who are flying back just makes me think, how envious I am of these people who fly back during winter break. Though I know that its a waste of money, but still, its a chance to see loved ones. But then again, going back only once a year makes me appreciate this chance alot more. Just one of those days that I miss home. Been a while since I miss home..
